The
bill (Reg. No. 9683) sets legal, economic, and organizational principles of
supporting energy performance of residential and public buildings, and arranges
conditions for cutting down on the consumption of energy resources.
The deputy Chair of the Committee Ihor Lysov informed that while scrutinizing the bill for the second reading 60 suggestions were received, 45 of which were included, and 15 rejected as contradicting the concept of the bill.
I.Lysov noted also that section four "Certification of energy performance of buildings" was reformatted.
It was suggested to exclude article on duties and obligations of owners (co-owners) of buildings in the sphere of energy performance of buildings.
Having considered the suggested changes, the Committee members upheld the bill.
